Train Suite Shiki-shima is a new luxury train in Japan that comes online May 1. The cars are private suites with common areas for special viewing and dining. It leaves from Tokyo’s Ueno station and goes up north through Aomori. I’d love to try this out but three-day trips run from $5000-$10,000 U.S. dollars per person. A bit pricey for a fancy train ride. Yet, they’re already fully booked through March 2018.Check out the dining room!
